Construction-
A. Court Buildings

1. Construction of new court building of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate and Civil Judge (Jr. Division) at Bishalgarh has been completed.
2. Construction of new court buildings of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate and Civil Judge (Jr. Division) at each of the Sub Divisions of Ambassa, Gandachara, Chailenghta and Kanchanpur has been completed.
3. Construction of a new court building to accommodate two courts of Judicial Magistrates at Agartala is completed.
4. Administrative Approval of Rs. Five Crore Fifty Thousand have been given for construction of a new double storied court building of Additional District & Sessions Judge at Sonamura. PWD will take up the work very soon.
5. Boundary wall around the court premises of Sabroom is completed.
6. Construction of the new building of the High Court, Agartala Bench is expected to be completed very soon.
7. Boundary wall around the court premises of Kamalpur is completed.
8. Boundary wall around the court premises of Amarpur is completed.
9. A Vehicle shed has been constructed in the High Court premise.
10. Temporary accommodation of the Family Court, Kailashahar has been made renovating the first floor of the Kailashahar Bar Library. A project has been taken up for construction of a new double storied court building there in the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court premise. It is expected that the construction work will be started within a short date.
11. Administrative Approval for a new double storied court building for Udaipur Family Court has been issued. The construction work will be started very soon.
12. Project for construction of another double storied court building at Belonia has been taken up.
13. Administrative Approval and Expenditure Sanction towards the construction of a new Double storied Bar Building for the Bar Association at Dharmanagar have been issued.
14. Administrative Approval and Expenditure Sanction towards the construction of a new Double storied Bar Building for the Bar Association at Udaipur have been issued.
15. A new project of construction of a new double storied Bar Building for the Bar Association at Belonia has been taken up.


B. Residential Buildings

1. A Type-v Quarter for the Additional District & Sessions Judge, Khowai has been constructed.
2. A Type-vi quarter for the District & Sessions Judge, South has been constructed at Udaipur.
3. Two Type-iv quarters in each of the Sub Divisions of Bishalgarh, Ambassa, Gandachara and Chailenghta have been constructed.
4. Construction works of Two Type-iv quarters at Kanchanpur is in progress.
5. A new project for construction of a Type-iv quarter at Kailashahar has been taken up.


New Courts-

During the last five years two more Family Courts have been established in Tripura. Family Court at Udaipur has started functioning on 29th April, 2006 and Family Court at Kailashahar has started functioning on 28th April, 2007. Both the courts have been functioning in full suing in terms with the purpose and objects of Family Courts Act, 1984. The people of those areas have already started getting results of those courts in respect of settlement of disputes relating to marriage and family affairs in a speedy, informal and inexpensive way.
Judicial works at new Judicial Sub Division of Bishalgarh have been started on 4th September, 2007 by a formal inaugural ceremony. It has indicated a new era in the history of Tripura Judiciary.
Jurisdiction of the Family Court, Agartala has been extended to the Bishalgarh Sub-division.
